Obituary of William Arthur Chamberlain

William Arthur Chamberlain died Tuesday January 19 at his home in Hackettstown. He was 61 years old. Born in Dover, Mr. Chamberlain was a resident of Hopatcong for 25 years prior to moving to Hackettstown. He was a graduate of Jefferson Township High School and attended Teterboro School of Aeronautics. Mr. Chamberlain retired in 1984 from his position as a nursing assistant at Lyons VA Hospital in Lyons, NJ. He was a Vietnam War Veteran serving from 1967-69 and recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was an active member of Grace, the Church on the Mount in Netcong where he participated in their bible study group and many other activities. He was also a member of the VFW Post # 2883 of Kenvil and enjoyed fishing. Loving husband of Ida (Badalati), beloved father of Kimberly Vasquez and her husband Robert, Pamela Burke and her husband William and Theresa Sendgikoski and her husband William. Dearest grandfather of Olivia, Isabel, Joshua, Emily, Billie, Liam, Juliana, Veronica, Ashley, Morgan and Hannah.
