hmmm time flys I was in Orange recently ( a disaster ) and I happen to drive by the fire house across from the high school I thought of billy we called him poke eye ( playing basketball he always inadvertently poked someone in the eye ) he was a good guy and a great friend but unfortunately life brings us to locales we never imagined as teens growing up in Orange and we go our seperate ways and lose touch , I was best man at billys wedding, i knew Elise very well and her wonderful and gracious mother really decent people. i know its a bit late to express my sorrow and my condolences to Elise. I live in Las Vegas now a universe away from Orange. Billy RIP you were a cool guy and you'll be sadly missed. Bill Bohaboy LV NV

Billy we will miss you and the good times we shared together in the VFW. I will never forget the support you gave me as District 10 President in Wildwood, singing, dancing and toasting to my good health along the parade route. We missed seeing you as often but, had good times when we popped into you at the mall and the pub. We will always remember you as a proud vet, fearless fireman or nutty Irishman. Either one or a combination of all three. A good friend who would always help you if he could with an impish grin and a dry wit. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Billy watch over us from above just as you did down here. We will always love you, miss you and remember you. We are grateful to have known you.

Bill, We are cousins not biologically but by choice through marriage. We were blessed to have you as part of this choice. To have known you was to love you and your family, so warm and close knit. Will you be missed? No, never. Your presence is all around us. You live on through your wife, your children and your children's children. Especially through pictures and cherished memories that are in the hearts of all who knew you. This is undying love, unending presence, the immortal gifts you given your family and friends to keep your Irish spirit alive. God bless you with eternal happiness until we meet again at heaven's gate. Our warm hearted prayers, thoughts and love are with you and your family always. To Elise, Alyssa, Bill and Jen - we are here for you, please don't hesitate we are only a heart beat away. God love you.

Billy,
You are one of few "gentlemen" we've known in our lives...
Thanks for the memories.. there are many wonderful ones -dinner in darkness during a thunderstorm, game nights, your input for the "Kozy Korner" and your afternoon walks down to our house, and how will we ever forget Friday nights at the Pub, just to name a few.
We'll miss you - our friend.
With Love, Jack and Vinnie

My big Brother Bill, the best conversations I had about life were with you; you taught me a lot and I always respected you, for your service to your country and for your dedication to the science of firefighting, but mostly for how hard you worked to "break the chain" and provide a stable family life for your children; I will always cherish the memories of the times we spent together, and you live on through your children and grandchildren. I will always love you, brother.

Dad,
You are a man of great character who lived life to the fullest. YOu were a role model to many, enemy to none.
You faught city hall and won and taught us all how important it is to always stand up for what we believe in....and to always do things the right way.
The day my William was born you looked at him and said "Its good to know that long after Im gone there will be another Billy Ryan running around causing trouble" When I told him you were gone he said "I make him better" and I know he did.
Love you Dad
