Obituary of Helena Mae Carson

Helena Mae "Chuggie" Carson died Tuesday December 8 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township after a long illness. She was 57 years old. Born in Dover to the late Ralph & Marion (Shupe) Peterson, Mrs. Carson has resided in the Warren County area for the last 16 years. She was also predeceased by her brother Albert Jack Peterson, her husband Bruce and her close friend Linda Yenzer. For the last 17 years Mrs. Carson was employed as a secretary for the transportation department at Hunterdon Central Regional High School in Flemington who were very supportive of her in her time of need. She loved gardening, hot air balloons and was a huge Elvis fan. Survivors include her beloved daughter Colleen Cota and her husband Chris, her cherished grandchildren Carson and Kylee Cota, five brothers, Ralph L., Dewitt, John Tom, Dennis and Bryan Peterson, four sisters, LaRay McCarthy, Anna Barton, Terry Arnhold and Debbie Kelly. She will also be missed by her many nieces & nephews, her special friend, Karrie and her children and her dog, Tucker.
