Dear Luongo Family,
Your husband was a big part of my daughter Samantha's life and contributed greatly to her success. She was classified and had Mr. Luongo as a teacher. She learned so much under his helpful guidance. His understanding, love, patience's, positive outlook, and concern for her showed through every day. He taught her in a way she understood and got her ready for high school (where she was de-classified) and graduated from college. He always believed in her and pushed her to her dreams to be a teacher herself. We believe because of his and other special teachers at MTA she was not only able to attend Montclair State College, but graduate Sum-Cum-Laude, which HE always believed she could do. I thank you for sharing such a wonderful man with us and our town. His legacy will live on in all those he taught and helped throughout is life and career at MTA.

Dear Joe,
I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. I wish I knew the right words to say to make this (or this whole year) better. Even in these sad times, I can't help but think of your dad and smile. He always had such a warm way about him. Always had a smile on his face when I saw him and always had a big hug for ya. He always talked about how proud he was (and still is) of you and then would always crack a joke to make me laugh. He (and your mom) will be greatly missed and may you have the strength to try to remember the good times and wonderful memories I know you both shared. Love you and know that if you need anything, I'm always a phone call away.
Tracy

So sorry for your loss. Joe is such a sweet, compassionate, kind and special man. He taught my son so much more than math. He touched our lives in such an important way and we are both deeply saddened with this news. Joe will be missed, but I will always instill in my son, to celebrate his life and cherish the memories.
