Stewart Wolverton, Sr. died Monday September 14, 2009 at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover. He was 83 years old. Born in Stanhope to John and Mary (Titus), Mr. Wolverton has resided in Hopatcong for 61 years. He worked as a casting technician for Howmet Corp in Dover, NJ and was a member of the Howmet Club for more than 25 years. His hobbies included league bowling, country music, playing the guitar and the harmonica. Loving husband of Florence (McConnell). Beloved father of Joyce Pinho, Stewart, Jr. and Richard. Cherished grandfather of Dawn McPeek and Monika and Ian Wolverton. Adoring great grandfather of Cassandra & Paige McPeek and Nathan Hatley.
