Obituary of George W. Robinson

JEFFERSON TWP. - George William Robinson, Jr. died Monday September 7 at his home in the Lake Hopatcong section of Jefferson Township. He was 89 years old. Born in Lake Hopatcong, Mr. Robinson resided there for his entire life. He was retired from his position as a Calibration Inspector at Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway. He was a founding member of the Jefferson Township Fire Co. #2 where he was a Past Chief,member of the Jefferson Twp. Rescue Squad, a 60 year member of the Musconetcong Lodge #51 F&AM and a member of the Lake Hopatcong United Methodist Church. Mr. Robinson was a WWII veteran serving in the United States Army from 1944-1946. Loving husband of Dorothy (Livingston). Beloved father of John and his wife Esther of Brentwood, TN, Brenda Agamie-Fisch and her husband Mark of Lake Hopatcong and Betty Jo of Lake Hopatcong. Cherished grandfather of Jessica Herndon and her husband Tucker of Brentwood, TN, Tucker of Los Angeles, CA, Justin Agamie of Lake Hopatcong and Jordan Agamie of Boulder, CO.
