Obituary of Irene H. Mendyk

Irene H. (Mitchell) Mendyk died Wednesday August 19, 2009 at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover. She was 63 years old. Born in Hoboken, Mrs. Mendyk resided in West New York, Carlstadt and Clifton prior to moving to Hopatcong 38 years ago. She worked as a home health aide at the Visiting Nurse Association in Morristown and previously worked as a merchandise assistant at JC Penney Department Store in Rockaway. Mrs. Mendyk was a member of the Hopatcong Ambulance Squad Woman's Auxiliary. Loving wife of Alex Jr. "Butch". Beloved mother of Tracey Crawford and her husband, Mark, Scott, Alex and his wife Sheri and Todd and his wife Kristine. Adoring grandmother of Tyler and Jake. Dearest Friend of Dolores Korkontzelos.
