Obituary of Howard John Colditz

Howard John Colditz of the Lake Hopatcong section of Jefferson Township died Thursday August 13, 2009 at home. He was 77. Born in Union City, he lived in Weehawken before moving to Lake Hopatcong in 1975. Prior to his retirement, he was a material handler with Hewlett Packard in Rockaway. An Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, he was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and a member of the VFW Post 2519 in Rockaway. He was an avid Mets and Jets fan. Beloved husband for 54 years of Elizabeth T. (nee: Gaul). Devoted father of Dennis and his wife Pauline, Donna Colditz, Lynn and her husband Michael Rozyla and the late Howard C. (1989). Loving grandfather of Jennifer, Shannon, Michele, Crystal and Tracy and cherished great grandfather of Giovanny, Ashley and Angelina.
