Obituary of Madeline B. Butler

Madeline B. (nee: Larena) Butler of Newton (formerly of Hopatcong) died Friday July 31, 2009 at Barn Hill Care Center, Newton. She was 87. Born in Paterson, she lived in Belleville prior to moving to Hopatcong in 1972. She has lived in Newton since 2007. Prior to her retirement in 1976, she was a cafeteria worker for Lenape Valley High School. A past member of the Belleville ELKS #1123, she also was a past member of the ELKS in Rockaway. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Sidney "Bill". Devoted mother of Wallace of Sussex, William Keith of Belton MO. Dear sister of Alice Higgins of Brick. Loving grandmother and great mother of 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
