Obituary of Louise Rose Paliani
Louise Rose Paliani died Tuesday June 23 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. She was 92 years old.
Born in the Port Morris section of Roxbury Township to the late Antonio and Maria (Esposito) Santella, Mrs. Paliani resided in Port Morris prior to moving to the Ledgewood section of Roxbury in 1954. She worked as an assembly line boss and File Clerk at Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway before retiring in 1963. She was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, AARP and the Deborah Heart and Lung Association.
Mrs. Paliani was predeceased by her husband Sebastian "Benny" in 1998, five brothers Peter, Patsy, Carmine, Razzie and Raymond Santella and a sister, Margaret Campbell.
Devoted mother of Joann Stark and cherished mother in law of Tom Stark of Ledgewood, adoring grandmother of Dawn Gessner & her husband, Steven of Walkersville, MD and DeAnna Pasciuto & her husband, Michael of Morris Plains, beloved great grandmother of Jennifer Rose Gessner and Joseph Steven Gessner both of Walkersville, MD and dear sister of Anthony Santella of Orlando, FL.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial gathering on Friday June 26 from 7-9 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing.
