Obituary of William P. Leahy

William P. Leahy of Hopatcong died Wednesday June 17, 2009 at Regency Grande, Dover. He was 89. Born in New York, NY, he lived in New York NY and Elizabeth NJ before moving to Hopatcong in 1964. Prior to his retirement he was a Long Shore man with the International Long Shore man's Shipping Association (ILA) in NYC. He was a parishioner of St. Jude RC Church, Hopatcong. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor (nee: Devaney) (1988). Devoted father of Edward of Mt. Arlington, Thomas of Roxbury, Patricia Baker of Rockaway and Joann Orr of Hopatcong. Cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 13.
