Hank you touched so many lives! People at my office you met, Mary said she thinks of you every time she walks on her carpet, Judy said she walks through her apartment and thinks of you as she sees what you did for her, my office and most of all my house and my yard - you are everywhere but the one place you have always been and will always be is in my heart! You are gone too soon and greatly missed!

It is unfortunate that each of you have been confronted with this tragedy, but at least you are a great support system for each other. Hank would be proud of each of you knowing that you are trying your best to get through this difficult time. And remember your support system is not limited. There are many faces that you can turn to when you feel the time is right.
This last week and half I have been searching for the right words to post. It has been difficult, but I always return to the thought that he was one lucky individual who lived life. He never allowed others judgments get in the way of his decisions. I believe his plan was to surround himself with those who loved him the most and having fun along the way was an added bonus.
Of course like everyone else I will remember him for his stories that he would share. In fact, as a young teen I remember Uncle Hank nicknaming him Hans Christian Anderson because he was that good with holding your interest and adding sound effect when necessary. However, the sound effects would later be exchanged with various laughs and smiles.
Take care of each other. Love, Tammy

I remember all (well, most of) the great times we had as kids. The holidays, the outings and just even playing when all of us were together. Sometimes you and I would just go off and talk or find a place to chill away from everyone else. After not seeing you for a very long time, you still welcomed me with comfort at Uncle Charlie's funeral. God only knows how much I wish that we could go back to when we were kids but know what we know now but I guess we wouldn't have gained the experience or wisdom that we have now.SMILE! I love you very much and will miss you. As Kenny Chesney says... I'll see you again someday. SMILE ! Just one more thing.... RIDE ON HANKIE !!

Hankie,
Mommy will miss you a lot because you are my baby and it is so hard to let you go. My heart is broken right now, but it will get better in time. I know your son and my other Grand children will get me through this hard time because they are strong and they know you would want them to. Henry took his mom for a ride on the ATV and I watched him as he was laughing just like you always did. I knew then and there that you were on the ATV with your son.
Baby, we may not have had a chance to get many rides with you but one thing baby, you will always ride with Mom and Dad because we have a picture of you, and your bike, in our backpack to be with us always.
I am so proud of Dad, Michelle, Mike and the Grand Children for their help in getting me through this saddest of times. I have a lot of tears in my heart for you now but mommy loves you so I won't say goodbye. I will say I'll see you up in the stars someday.
Love you forever, Mommy

Well bud I figured it was time for me and mom to allow you to rest. We will miss you dearly but if we want to see you all we have to do is look into your sister's face and you will be there.
In all our sadness we do have the comfort of knowing that when you were called to rest you were doing what you loved to do, as always, with no regrets. Mike and I rolled out our rides today and, as hard as it was, we took them for a spin. When I got to the fire house I knew that everything was going to be ok because as I was riding a calm came over me so I knew that you were with us telling us to enjoy what we do.
I also want to tell you that you have a strong sister, and a loving brother-in-law who love you and are watching over me and your mother like hawks. We are so proud of them.
Well Mom and I are going to say so-long for now and that we love you and will see you when it's time for us to make the journey.
Love Eternally,
Mom and Pop

I only spoke to Hank about four times in the brief time I knew him. He appeared to be quite an active and fearless person being into motorcycling, skydiving, skiing, and other intense sports. He wasn't afraid of doing anything! Yet he was also a bowler and fisherman. He seemed to be always on the go and never sat still. This guy could also spin a yarn about his exploits and I learned much about him very quickly.
Farewell Hank.

Hon, while Henry and I went through your personal belongings with your mom it made me realize just how much you still loved me and I will never forget you or stop loving you either. As Henry and I reminiscenced this morning about our lives together, we laughed and sometimes cried. I'm so happy we stayed in each other's lives over the years. I promise you, my love, I will continue to raise our son as the fine, caring and loving young man he already is. I'm thankful that I will continue to have the love and support from both our families. Thanks for the memories, love always Cindy

To Michelle and The Henderson Family: Michelle, I remember you and Hankie up at Secluded Acres when we were growing up...I smile because I still have this picture in my mind of You and Hankie running all throughout the campground together, always together...It's funny the things you remember...I can still see you two, side-by-side, smililing in the sunshine with that twinkle in your eyes. You were always off to conquer a new adventure, two peas in a pod. I also remember looking at this brother and sister thinking how blessed you are to be so close, to actually like each other as siblings and love each other as friends...I've often thought about your family, hoping that life had been kind and that everyone had stayed close. I was Devastated to hear about Hankie. As I read through this guestbook and looked at the pictures you posted I was happy to see just how full his life was, how much he was loved and how much his love for others made such an impact on everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. I wish you all the best, ~J

It going to be a long journey for them, but I will help them. And Boo has been such a rock also he has done so well making sure everyone else is ok instead of himself. Babe,
We known each other for many years but falling in love with you was the best thing that's ever happened to me. With your sense of humor, your caring way, and your understanding, you've taught me how to believe in love again. The times we spent together, laughing and enjoying each other's company or the quiet moments wrapped in each others arms, were the best times I've ever had in my life.
I miss you tremendously but when I need to feel your arms around me I have your Dad. When I need your gentle kisses I have your Mom. When I need to see your smile and hear your laugh I have your sister and when I need your listening ear there is your best friend Mike. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for these beautifull people that Kelly, Keith and I now have in our lives. I'll always be here for Henry to help him grow into a loving man that you will be proud of.
Nothing in the world has ever meant so much to me as the love we discovered. And I know that I could never love anyone else the way I love you.
Rest in peace my love and I'll see you at sunset by the waterfalls. Aloha!
Forever yours, Liz

Hankie I am hoping you are reading this. I can't understand for the life of me why god took you away from me so soon. From day one you and me have been joined at the hip. You are my best friend. All the time we spent driving mommy and daddy nuts( surprised they aren't in therapy..lol) to raising our kids to be best friends. We were supposed to grow old together. My heart hurts so bad. I know someday we will be together again and be prepared cause you have a major butt kicking coming from me, but until them I promise you I will do everything in my power to make sure Boo is taken care of for you. He is all I have left of you and he is the reason I am trying so hard to keep myself together because let me tell you this is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I know this is only the funeral home web site but in my heart it is like I am texting you and you are gonna get my message, Also it is making me feel better knowing that you might actually be reading it. So I am gonna talk to you this way. Plus I have to stop yelling up at the sky to you people are gonna start thinking I am nuts not that I am normal, but you know. Well I rambled on to you enough like always. I love you and I am gonna miss you. Save me some Hooter's onion rings up there cause you know I will be stealing them off your plate when I see you again.
