Obituary of Dick Curtis

Dick Curtis died Friday March 13 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover. He was 76 years old. Born in Manchester, NY, Mr. Curtis resided there prior to moving to the Lake Hopatcong section of Jefferson fifty years ago. He worked as a delivery man for Wise Potato Chips in Clifton for thirty years and was than employed as part of the office staff for his son Dr. Dean Curtis. Mr. Curtis loved skiing, especially with his daughter, Dawn. He also enjoyed flying, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, motorcycling, dancing and water skiing. Mr. Curtis passed many of his hobbies down to his children which are now being taught to his granddaughter, Kayla. Mr. Curtis served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was also a member of the American Legion Post in Lake Hopatcong. Survivors include his loving wife, Bea, Beloved daughter Dawn and her boyfriend, Woody, his dear son, Dr. Dean Curtis and his wife, Kristen, his precious granddaughter Kayla who will miss her "Poppy" terribly and his sister, Penny Hook. Mr. Curtis was also predeceased by two sisters Beverly & Judy.
