Obituary of Scott Alger

Scott Alger died Thursday March 12 in Hopatcong. He was 55 years old. Born in Champaign, IL he resided in Hopatcong for 17 years prior to moving to Newton 3 years ago. Mr. Alger volunteered many years with the Hopatcong Hawks Girls' Soccer program. He was the co-owner of EnviroKleen, Inc. of Denville. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia (nee: Dobberstein), two daughters, Melissa Oswald and her husband Tyler of Allentown, PA and Shannon Alger of Newton, a brother, Jeffrey Alger of CO and a sister, Melody Sealander of TN. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Cremation services were held privately.
