Obituary of Ann M. Morris

Ann M. Morris, of Hopatcong, passed away on Tuesday March 11, 2014 at home. She was 66. Born in Newark, on January 29, 1948 to the late James Hooker and the late Ruth Yeager, Ann has resided in Hopatcong since 1968. Ann worked as a restaurant manager at H.L. Green in Ledgewood prior to being an administrative assistant for Zone Defense in Randolph. She was past President of Northwood Engine Co. #2 Ladies' Auxiliary in Hopatcong. Ann also enjoyed crafting, sewing and was an avid reader. Devoted wife of Ken "Mo" Morris, dearest sister of Jeanette Pisapia, Eileen Ivanovitz, Joyce Seigler, the late Jimmy Hooker and the late Charlie Yeager and beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ann's Life Celebration on Friday March 14 from 4-8 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, Landing. A prayer service will be offered on Saturday March 15 beginning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Friends and family may begin gathering at the funeral home on Saturday morning at 9:00 AM. Ann will be laid to rest at Restland Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover following prayers.
