Edith Lillian Allworden, 81 PORT CHARLOTTE, FL - Edith Lillian Allworden died Sunday October 19, 2008 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte, FL. She was 81 years old. Born in Jersey City, NJ, Mrs. Allworden resided in Secaucus, NJ and the Port Morris section of Roxbury Twp., NJ prior to moving to Port Charlotte, FL 23 years ago. She was a homemaker and prior to that worked for United Parcel Service (UPS) in Parsippany, NJ. She volunteered many hours at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte and loved to play bingo. Loving wife of the late John H. (2000), beloved mother of Barbara Ann Gronau and her husband, William of Port Morris, NJ and Patricia Stewart and her husband Chuck of Lake Placid, NY, cherished grandmother of Adam Gronau and his wife Christina and Dana Abbate and her husband Christian, adoring great grandmother of Jenna and Leigha Gronau, dearest sister of Dorothy Pio, Caroline Bloom, Richard Luthcke and his wife Teri, Robert Luthcke and his wife Cindy and George Luthcke and his wife Loreli.
