Obituary of Janet Bunnicant

Janet Bunnicant died Friday October 17 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. She was 56 years old. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mrs. Bunnicant spent many summers in Hopatcong with her family before taking permanent residence there in 1970. She owned and operated Bunni's Buses in Hopatcong and prior to that was the administrator for Byram Bus Co. in Stanhope for over 20 years. Mrs. Bunnicant volunteered her time with the Hopatcong Warriors football and cheerleading program for 13 years. She was a member of the Hopatcong Borough Recreation Committee and the NJ Bus Association. She enjoyed crafts, sewing and knitting. Mrs. Bunnicant was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt whose greatest joy was spending time with her family. Loving wife of Butch, beloved mother of Lisa Kattermann and her husband Chris, Anthony and his wife Kelly and Keith, adoring "Mimi" of Ava, Amelia and a third grandchild on the way, dearest sister of Grace Molinari and her husband Bill and Rosemary Gabay and her husband Tommy, beloved aunt of Melissa Molinari and Willie and Louie Gabay.
