Obituary of Lucille Mildred Shernce

Lucille Mildred (nee: Cicatelli) Shernce of Roxbury Twp. died Friday October 10, 2008 at home. She was 96. Born in Brooklyn NY, she lived in Roxbury Twp. since 1959. She was the co-owner of Shernce Coal and Oil Company in Netcong, retiring in 1967. A member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Musconetcong for 61 years, she also was a member of the Netcong Seniors and the Stanhope United Methodist Church in Stanhope. She enjoyed knitting, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Harold (1991). Devoted mother of Richard and his wife Betty of Stanhope and Robert and his wife Kathy of Netcong. Loving grandmother of Dawn Kuncken, Stefanie Nemitz, Brian Shernce, Jennifer Kathmann, Heather Shernce and Susan Russell. Cherished great grandmother of 6 great grandchildren.
