Dear Pat, Sandy and David,
We are are so very sad and sorry for this great loss yet knowing that Zach has been healed and free of MPS makes us feel better. He is now free of pain and suffering. Although our circumstances here did not permit us to be with you last night, we were united in prayer with you. We will continue prayers for you all that God will take away your pain. Thank you for sharing Zachs life with us for the time we did. I will remember the times he and his best friend, our Chase, sat on the steps looking at the world as only those two could, understanding each other. I am now asking Zach to hold Chase's hand and help him through his suffering. I have no doubt Chase will be with Zach very soon playing together in heaven. As Best Friends should be.. Very soon....

Dear Pat, Sandy and David: Our deepest sympathy at this difficult time in your lives. Zach was such a special member of your family but touched so much of our Mine Hill community during his time at Canfield Avenue School. We remember him smiling, care free, loving his Mom so much and admiring his older brother and sister. I remember him at Home Depot with Al on their many trips to look at all the tools and Zach's gleeful fascination with the vacuum cleaner. Happier days. Such a sweet soul. God Bless your family. It has been a while since we saw Pat walking with Zach back and forth on Randolph Avenue. That is how we remember him. Zach and his mom, every day, whether it was cold, raining, windy or hot. What a devoted mom! We are very sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed.

I am so deeply sorry for this great loss. Pat, you are a remarkable woman, a loving and wonderful mother-the best they come. I will never forget Zack-Man and all the joy he brought me.
