Obituary of Leo Joseph Betlow

Leo Joseph Betlow Sr. died peacefully Friday August 22, 2008 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover. He was 74 years old. Born in Mahanoy, PA, Mr. Betlow resided in Whippany and Morristown prior to moving to Hopatcong in 1971. He was a self employed mason contractor. He was a 4th Degree Knight for the Knights of Columbus Council of St. Jude's Church in Hopatcong. He also served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Jude's, was a die-hard Yankees fan, an avid golfer and bowler, enjoyed coin collecting and was especially fond of family crabbing trips to Toms River. Mr. Betlow served in the US Army from 1957 - 1963. Loving husband of Olga (nee, Musarra), beloved father of Marie Betlow Jozowski and her husband Joseph, Olga Kaphan, Leo Joseph Betlow Jr. and his wife Lynette, Joseph Betlow, Mary Ann Imroth and her husband Richard Cafasso, Ann Marie Betlow and Elizabeth Betlow, adoring grandfather of Matthew, Kyle, Sarah, Jessica, Rebecca, Taylor, "Little" Matt and Joseph, Dear brother of Edward and his wife, Helen.
