Obituary of Michael Allen

Michael Allen died Monday August 4, 2008 at his home in Hopatcong. He was 67 years old. Born in Hoboken to the late Gilbert and Catherine (Mahoney) he resided in Hillside prior to moving to Hopatcong in 1986. Mr. Allen received a bachelor's degree in accounting from St. Peters College in Jersey City and was a Senior Vice President for Little Falls Savings and Loan in Little Falls. He was a former member of the Hillside Knights of Columbus and the American Bankers Association. Mr. Allen served in the United States Air Force from 1959-1965. Loving husband of Virginia (Severino), beloved father of Kevin of Lambertville, Dearest brother of Stephen and his wife, Lydia of Cranford and Dorothy Piccione and her husband, Phillip of North Bergen. Adoring uncle of Phillip, Nicole, Christine and Jennifer and cherished great uncle of Christopher.
