Obituary of Daniel K. Alfon

Daniel K. Alfon II passed away Sunday February 16, 2014 in Hopatcong. He was 58. Born in Davao City, Philippines, he immigrated to the United States in the early 1990's. Daniel was a Residential Living Specialist with Greystone Psychiatric Hospital in Morris Plains since 1992. He was respected by both staff and patients. Devoted father of Daniel K. Alfon III and Daniel K. Alfon IV. Best friend of Lito Ang. Longtime companion to Beverly Dettelbach for 18 years. Dear brother of Monette Alfon and Diane Famorcan. Daniel's Life Celebration was held on Wednesday February 19 at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. He was visited by family, friends, co-workers and former patients. Cremation was private.
