I will miss my sister terribly she was always there to listen to my hopes, dreams and disappointments, never judged just listened. (well sometimes she did put in her 2 cents, but it would not be Val if she didn't) I want to thank all of you for all the support and love that you gave Val before, during and after her illness, she was a fighter even up to the last time I was able to communicate with her at the hospital. The people at the funeral home could not believe the amt of people that came to pay their respects they really thought she had to be famous, well we all know that ! I cannot imagine what it is like for Dom, Danielle, DJ, Billy but I know you all are up there to help lend an ear when they need to talk, Valerie is looking down on us, while she is taking her walk with Toby...she is waiting for all of us to come be with her one day...love again to all of you...Love to all of you...her big sis...Joanne Valentine-Willis ...

Dear Dom, Danielle, DJ, Billy,
I will never live long enough to forget your mom's zest for life. She could yell and ring that cow bell and cheer better than anyone. Only person I know who used athletic tape for finger blisters from a cow bell. I remember going into Byram shop rite one day, she said, Your mother in law is in meats and Ang is in produce! Even in shop rite she was a character. One day I was going into Kohl's. She saw me and yelled "Hey, they made a mistake on the pillow prices." Val turned around, took me back to household and picked out pillows for Bob and I. No lie, she made me buy them and I have them still. She was right, they were a steal. We talked about gardening, she loved that butterfly bush. I knew what kind of treats Toby got and I know all of your favorite dishes! I even know her high school nickname was val-val :) The best way I can describe Val - She loved life... and It loved her right back. Treasure your memories, I will.
Netcong has lost yet another great one.

Dear Dominick, Danielle, DJ & Billy- We want you to know that we are thinking of you during this time of sadness. Val was a dear friend that will never be forgotten. She brought out the best in people and made us laugh. We were so happy to visit her a few weeks ago while she was sitting outside. Even then she yelled out..."well hello stranger." But now she's in a better place, no pain and suffering. Hold on to all the wonderful memories that you had with her. That is what keeps us alive. Val would want that. WE MISS AND LOVE YOU VAL! +

Val was truly a special person. We had a lot of laughs sitting in the bleachers during the Lenape wrestling matches (when she wasn't out selling her 50-50's!).
The world is a sadder place today without her.

The first time I met Val is when she moved to Wiltop, she was walking her "hot dog" and she sat on the curb with me discussing names for her dog, Jeri came up with the name "Fritz" and since that day we have remained friends, she would stand on her deck and I would be in the front yard, all of a sudden a voice would rip "Hi neighbor, what's up for today". Val will be sadly missed by the Joe Del Family, I am sure he is waiting for her to give her a NIP candy. Rest in peace Val.
