I have a perspective on Barbara and her life that comes from a unique situation. I was not able to see Barb since we were 12 years old and in 5th grade. Because of the internet we were able to reconnect over the last couple of years. It was wonderful for me to see how happy she was with the important things in her life, her family. She was still the same enthusiastic and fun loving person I remembered from so long ago and she threw all of that enthusiasm into the people that were so special to her. She had a fantastic husband, wonderful children, and a grandson that seemed to take all pain away from her when she spoke of him. It has been a great experience to reconnect with Barb after over 40 years and see how special she turned out. We all wish she had many more years to enjoy these important things, I think she deseved that. There is a greater plan and Barb is part of that plan. I am so glad, that in some small way, I was able to be a part of my old friend's life again. The feelings that I have about the wonderful person she became and the strength she had always will be something that stays with me for a long time. I wish Barb's family the best, you are all special people and most importantly she knew that.
