Adele was a treasured friend, who I admired and loved. We worked together for 14 years. I first met Adele in 1974 and over the years we became special friends. We used to attend the opera and we shared many happy memories. Adele grew the most beautiful flowers which she brought to work transforming our office into a beautiful place. She was a true intellectual who loved learning and reading up until the last week of her life. She also loved cats and cared for many of them for years. Truely, she made her own Heaven on earth with her wondrous garden, her beautiful felines and her love of the written word. I will miss her always and remember her everytime I see a spring flower or gaze upon the face of a cat. People like Adele are few and I feel honored have had her for a friend. I am so glad she has a special family who cared for her and loved her until the end.
Rest in Peace dear friend. There will be flowers in Heaven and you are one of them. Love always, Joy Horn
