Obituary of Terrence O'Donnell

Terrence O'Donnell, of Hopatcong, died Wednesday March 26 at St. Petersburg General Hospital, St. Petersburg, FL. He was 72 years old. Born in Newark, Mr. O'Donnell has resided in Hopatcong since 1964. He was retired from his position as a supervisor of government security for Bell Labs/AT&T in Whippany, retiring in 1989. He was currently working as a partner with his son Terrence in an exposition company responsible for organizing trade shows. He served as president of the Communication Workers of America (CWA) at Bell Labs, was a member of the Telecom Pioneers of America, the Sons of the American Legion in Medeira Beach, FL and was a founding father of the Hopatcong Little League where he served as its second president and was a coach for many years. Loving husband of fifty years of Mary (nee Petracca). Beloved father of Terrence and his wife, Margaret of Cape May, Patrick and his wife Susan of Pompton Lakes, August of Hopatcong, Jo-Anne Kracht and her husband Joseph of Hopatcong and Donna-Marie Luciani and her husband, Michael of Hopatcong. Dearest brother of Robert of Hoboken, the late Thomas and the late Patricia Dejesse. Adoring grandfather of eleven grandchildren.
