Obituary of James F. Danielson

James F. Danielson, Sr. passed away on Thursday September 18, 2014 at VNA Hospice House in East Stroudsburg, PA. He was 74. Born in Bronx, NY on June 5, 1940 to the late William and Anne Danielson, James resided in the Throggs Neck section of the Bronx prior to moving to Bushkill, PA in 2008. James served proudly in the United States Navy from 1959-1965. He worked as a draftsman and insurance claims investigator for Con Edison in New York City for 32 years. James was a member of the Sawcreek Estates Men's Club and was an avid photographer. Devoted husband of the late Dolores (2008) and the late Anne (1998), beloved father of James Danielson, Jr. (Jim) and his wife "favorite daughter in law" Michelle, Dearest brother of William Danielson, III and the late Margaret Ann Houghton and adoring grandfather of Liam and Patrick Danielson. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to James' life celebration on Saturday September 20 from 7-9 pm and Sunday September 21 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday September 22 beginning at 10:00 am at St. Therese RC Church, Succasunna. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home Monday morning at 8:30am. James will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 West Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, NY.
