Obituary of Pasquale Ferrante

Pasquale "Pat" Ferrante of Hopatcong died Thursday, January 24, 2008 at home. He was 86 years old. Born in Bronx, NY, he resided in the Parkchester section of the Bronx prior to moving to Hopatcong in 1976. He retired from his job in 1986 as a Diesel Mechanic for AUD Plumbing and Heating in Rockaway, NJ. Pat served in the Army Air Corp as a Staff Sergeant during World War II. He received the Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon with 1 Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal and the Distinguished Unit Badge. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, the outdoors and going to Atlantic City. Pat was a member of the Hopatcong Seniors, St. Jude Church in Hopatcong, American Legion Post 344 of Rockaway and the Knights of Columbus. Beloved husband of the late Yolanda (2001). Loving father of John Ferrante and his wife Carol, Pat Ferrante and Doloretta (Dell) Ferrante. Cherished Grandfather of Janine Varhaul and her husband Larry, Patrick Ferrante and his wife Tracy, John Ferrante and his wife Lynn-Marie, Christina Ferrante and her fiance David Hilgert, Michael Ferrante, Nicole Braun & Andrew Finland and Scotty Braun. Adoring Great Grandfather of Angelina and Emily. Dear brother of Emmanuel and Valentino. Also survived by his dog Bailey and many nieces, nephews and friends.
