Elisabetta Colavita died Tuesday January 8 at Morris View Care Center in Morris Plains. She was 91 years old. Born in S. Elia a Pianisi, Italy Mrs. Colavita came to the United States in 1955 and resided in Irvington prior to moving to Hopatcong in 1986. She was a homemaker and attended St. Jude RC Church in Hopatcong. Loving wife of the late Leonardo. Beloved mother of Joseph and his wife, Florence of Hopatcong. Adoring grandmother of Betty Jo Coats and her husband Jeremy, Leonardo Colavita and Kathleen Colavita. Cherished great grandmother of Nicholas and Isabella Coats.
