I only knew Jess for a short time while she lived in Saratoga. I truly enjoyed her company. Jess could make anyday seem better. She seemed to know if you weren't feeling well or sad or upset, she would always say "Don't you look pretty today!" We would laugh and things always seemed to be okay after that.
Jess was a loving mother, wife and friend, she will be missed very much.
Rest in peace Jess.

Jessica,
I just finished reading all the entries into your guestbook and viewing the photo album and I am sitting here with tears streaming down my face. I am so sad that we lost touch after high school. We literally missed seeing eachother last christmas eve at my Aunt Carla's house by minutes. I arrived just after you left. God, what I wouldn't do to be able to have seen you that one last time and have given you a hug. We both must have been pregnant (my family didn't know yet, was waiting to tell them on christmas day) with our sons. I will always keep you in my heart and think of you everytime I look at my son because Gavin was born the day before my precious boy. Believe me when I tell you that you have made me a stronger person who will never take anything for granted in life. I love you, Jess.

To Jack and his family, I am so sorry for your loss. Jessica was strong, caring, funny, and she can not be replaced. The fact that she is no longer suffering gives me some sense of relief in this whole thing. I believe I saw Jessica at MMH in Nov. My mom was a patient there across the hall. I remember seeing her walking her boys to the elevator, you could see the love for her children. I remember hearing how sick she was from another patient. I was so sad for her and her family and I sat there silently saying a prayer for her and her husband and boys. The tears came running down my face asking God to please help her. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless her family, she is your angel now.

I sit here and just don't know what to write. Since Jessica's call on October 25th, I feel like I have just been going non stop. I felt my strongest when I was doing whatever I could to help her and Jack. There are so many things that I've seen and she's said since that day that will forever be embedded into my heart and mind. Jessica was such a tough, strong person who obviously touched the lives of many. I miss her dearly, and am grateful for each of the memories I have with her. I know she is over us all watching and guiding with Amy. They say a battle with cancer is like the lifecycle of a butterfly. Jessica's first battle was her as a caterpillar. She was eating to get stronger, and she did. She got well and had Gavin. This second battle was her chrysalis. She completely transformed in her battle, and it was such a fight to break free. She did break free into heaven. She will forever be the butterfly in my life. Jess, I love you and Jack and your boys always...
