Obituary of Richard W. Ross

Richard W. Ross died Saturday December 15 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover, NJ. He was 54 years old. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was raised in Ridgewood, NY and resided in the Bayside section of Queens, NY prior to moving to Blairstown four years ago. He received a bachelors degree from Vaughn College of Aeronautics in Queens, NY and was employed there as a professor. He also worked as a steel erector for D.C.M. in South Plainfield. Mr. Ross was a member of Mensa International, had a deep love of flying, glider flying, fishing, gardening and carpentry. Dearest brother of Ronald of Centerport, NY, Rosemary of Bayside, Queens, the late Robert and the late Ruth. Loving fiancé of Victoria Irizarry of Blairstown. Beloved son of the late Robert F. and the late Rose (nee: Kaloustian). Dear stepfather of Samantha and Jesse Irizarry.
