Obituary of Rosario Grillo

Rosario Grillo of Hopatcong died Friday November 30, 2007 at home. He was 92. Born in Brooklyn, he has lived in Hopatcong since 1975. Before retiring, he was a self-employed mason contractor and also was an oil truck driver for teamsters #553. He was a member of St. Jude RC Church, Hopatcong, the VFW Post #10101 of Hopatcong and the Hopatcong Senior Citizens. A Navy World War II veteran, he was a recipient of the American Theatre, Victory and Asiatic Pacific Medals. Beloved husband of Diana (nee: Lia). Devoted father of Robert of Hopatcong, Thomas and his wife Janice of Mt. Arlington and Richard and his wife Sabina of Westbury, Long Island NY. Dear brother of Cosmo of Massapequa NY. Cherished grandfather of 4 grandchildren and loving great grandfather of 5 great grandchildren.
