Obituary of Robert Church

Robert Church, Jr. of Basking Ridge passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY. He was 40. Born in Denville, he lived in Hopatcong prior to moving to Basking Ridge over 2 years ago. Robert was a locksmith with the State of New Jersey in Morris Plains. He spent his recreation time surfing, bodybuilding, running, working out, playing his guitar and motorcycling. He had great interest in the Warbirds of America and aviation. Cherished son of Grace (nee: Moody) and Robert Church, Sr. Beloved companion of Renee M. Costanzo. Loving brother of Victoria and her husband Michael Finn, Tony and his wife Marlo Church and niece Madeline and Grace Marie Church and her partner James Sommers . Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Robert's Life Celebration on Tuesday September, 9 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. Interment and sharing of words will be on Wednesday, September 10 at 11:00AM at Stanhope Union Cemetery, Mt Olive Township. All are invited to meet directly at the cemetery. Please omit flowers. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of the person's choice.
