To the family of Paulie:
My heart goes out to all of you at this time of reflection and sympathy. I, personally, feel very fortunate to have known my buddy, Paulie. His unique greetings, friendship, and the fun times we shared will forever be in my heart. The pool games, the dancing, laughing and singing Karaoke, are just a few of the many memories that I'll cherish forever. He was one of the first people I met when I moved to Hopatcong in 1988, and I knew right away that I'd like this guy. His patriotism and service to our country in Viet Nam, he was so very proud of, and I always respected and appreciated this very honorable attribute. So to the family, I will pray for his salvation, and that all who were close to him find the inner strength and faith to endure this difficult time. Thanks, also, to the family for opening thier home to me, and allowing me to visit my friend, as he suffered thru his terrible illness. I am so glad that you let me be a part of his final days, here. So, I sign off by using the nic-name in which Paulie always called me:
"The Doors Man"
