Obituary of Edward G. Lawrey
Edward G. "Glenn" Lawrey of Hampton died Sunday August 19, 2007 at home.
He was 60.
Born in Newton, he was raised in Stanhope and lived in Kenvil before moving to Hampton 9 years ago.
He was a rigger with Picatinny Arsenal for 37 years retiring in 2002.
An avid hunter, fisherman and expert marksman, he was a member of the Hilltop Rod and Gun Club in Budd Lake, the Picatinny Gun Club, Crescent Shriners, Musconetcong Lodge #151 F&AM and the 32nd Degree Scottish Rites.
He is predeceased by his first wife Barbara (nee: Biasi) who died in 1994 and his father Edward who died last year.
Beloved husband of Rosemary. Devoted step-father of Joe Serfess and his wife Phyllis of Clayton, DE and Julie A. Serfess of Hampton. Cherished son of Alma Lawrey of Stanhope. Dear brother of Gail Esposito and her husband Al of Stanhope and Sharon Buchanan of Stanhope. Loving uncle of Gary Esposito and Lynn Ensman.
