Prayers for a wonderful man. Being a neighbor, growing up together on WIltop, we were all very lucky, families mattered so much.

Dave is a very special guy. I admire him so, for his strength, courage and love for life. With all he went through all his life...he always had a smile on his face. He gave us great memories. Many of joking and pranking and many with his sincerity and kindness. He thought highly and spoke often of his family; I give them my sincere heartfelt thoughts & prayers at this troubled time. I left New Jersey in the early 80's; however, every time I got back to Netcong I always made it a point to visit David and his family. We were childhood friends that shared great times as kids playing on Wiltop Road.
Every time I create a new username and password on a computer program one of the security questions it always asked was, "who is your favorite childhood friend"? I always put down David Weaver to this day.
My heart goes out to Earl, his Dad and the entire Weaver family.

Dear Weaver Family, I am very saddened to hear of Dave's passing. He was the strongest and most inspiring person I've ever met. We were great friends for 27 years and we emailed each other almost every day for the past 22 years. We had so many laughs over the years. He was a great friend and an even better person. What a guy! The news of Dave's passing is just heartbreaking. There's just not a nicer person to be known. He was always so nice to me and my boys. I will miss seeing him outside washing his cars and taking care of the yard always with a very cheerful wave hello. Rest in peace Dave.
