Obituary of Donald M. Morris

Donald M. Morris Sr. died Sunday June 17 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare's in Dover. He was 80 years old. Born in Washington, DC, Mr. Morris resided in the Succasunna section of Roxbury Township prior to moving to Hopatcong 29 years ago. He was the owner of Morris Towing of Hopatcong and Mt. Kemble Exxon in Morristown. He was an avid driver and owner of stock cars until the late 1970's and later was an avid spectator until his death. His car number was #111. Mr. Morris was a United States Naval veteran serving during WWII from 1945-46. Loving husband of Carole (Seidel). Beloved father of Donald Jr. and his wife, Jill, Edward and his wife, Patti, Robert Morris, Mary Ann Marx, Donna Morris, Kathleen Florio and Diane Freeman and her husband Brad. Dear stepfather of Rick Geary. Adoring grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Dearest son of the late Edward and Mary (Cassell) Morris. Also surviving is Donald Sr.'s first wife Anna.
