Kim and family- it is still surreal that your beautiful Alex is no longer with you. She has truly touched so many lives with her brave battle. The minute we passed the billboard on the way home from the funeral home on 287 it changed to her beautiful face! She will always be a thought in our mind and hold a place in our hearts! Dear Mr. and Mrs Cafferata,
I do not believe that you know me but I am a Catholic priest and pastor of St. Lawrence the Martyr Church in Chester, NJ. On Sunday, a family who are neighbors of yours and who had babysat your children came to St. Lawrence for Mass. After the Mass, I met and spoke with your neighbors who were quite distraught at the death of your dear Alex.
I want you to know that the St. Lawrence community is praying for you all, that the Lord may bring you comfort, strength, hope and healing. We remembered your family at the Masses yesterday and today. May the Lord be with you! May His mother Mary who also lost a Son support you with her prayers too.
