Obituary of Henry Cecil Marshall

Lake Hopatcong - Henry Cecil Marshall, 71, passed away at home May 9, 2007 surrounded by friends and family after his gallant 9 month battle with cancer. Born in Massaopanix VA, he has lived in Lake Hopatcong for over 40 years. Serving in the Army from 1958 to 1964, Mr. Marshall was an avid sportsman playing in many sports leagues in his younger days and most recently enjoyed golf and fishing. He was an avid snowmobile rider and a member of American Legion Post #245, Lake Hopatcong. He was a union electrician for IBEW 102 (former 581) in Parsippany before retiring in 1997. He is predeceased by his brother Frank, his father and stepmother William Henry and Marion Marshall and his mother Blanche Ayres. Beloved husband of 39 years of Judy (nee: Pelka) Marshall. Dear brother of Elizabeth Perry and her husband Michael, Elaine Serrett and her husband Lonnie and James Marshall and his wife Faye (all of Virginia). Dear brother in law of Paul Pelka and his wife Judy of Byram. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will also be sorely missed by his dog Jake.
