Obituary of Mary E. Varrone

HOPATCONG - Mary E. (nee: Scholl) Varrone died peacefully at home on Thursday April 19, 2007 after a long illness. She was 44. Mary was born in Montclair on March 19, 1963, the daughter of Cora Scholl and the late George H. Scholl. A lifelong resident of Hopatcong, Mary graduated from Hopatcong High School in 1981. She spent 14 years as a paralegal/legal secretary with the Thomas Green Law Office in Florham Park and seven years with Laufer, Knapp, Porcewski, Dalena & Sposaro Law Office in Chester. Mary's commitment and passion was to her children and service to the youth of the community through her dedication with coaching soccer and basketball. She had a lifelong love of softball, basketball, skiing, horseback riding, Mystic Seaport, Connecticut, Deep Sea Fishing, cooking, baking and was a diehard Mets fan. Beloved wife of Vincent. Devoted mother of Jillian Leigh and Giancarlo "Gino". Cherished daughter of Cora (nee: Miller) Scholl and the late George H. Scholl. Dear sister of Audrey D'Agostine, Janice Belbeck, Marge Evans, Georgette Scholl, David Scholl, Deborah Evans Best, Thomas Scholl, Linda Erlandson, George W. Scholl and the late Brian Scholl. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.
