Obituary of Luther Holmes

Luther Holmes died Saturday April 14, 2007 at home. He was 70 years old. Born in Budd Lake, he lived in Newton before moving to Hopatcong in 1960. An exempt Hopatcong Fire Fighter, he was the owner/operator of L. Holmes Construction in Hopatcong, retiring in 1993. He was a hard working man who enjoyed spending time with his family. Beloved husband of the late Emanuella (nee: Villanti) Holmes. Devoted father of Thomas Ernest of Hopatcong and Stacia Stillwell and her husband Curtis of Hopatcong. Dear brother of Melvin M. of Budd Lake and Emma Josephine Trimmer of Mansfield Twp. Cherished grandfather of Alicia, Courtney, Thomas and Jessica.
