Obituary of Paul S. Codd

Paul S. Codd, of Netcong, passed away on Tuesday August 12, 2014 at home surrounded by loving family and friends. He was 67. Born in Honesdale, PA, on November 4, 1946 to the late William and Anna Mae, Paul was a lifelong resident of Stanhope and Netcong. Paul served proudly in the United States Marine Corps from 1964-1968. He was the former owner/operator of Dunkin Donuts in Mt. Olive, a business he shared with his wife for 10 years. Paul was last employed as a tractor trailer driver for Federal Express in Newark. Paul loved fishing and traveling. His greatest joy was spending time with friends and family, especially his four grandsons. He was an exempt member of Netcong Fire Co. #1, serving 45 years and volunteered as an operator of the weed harvesting equipment for the Lake Musconetcong Community Association. Survivors include his loving wife, Ann Marie, two beloved daughters, Kelley Codd and Kimberly Kelly and her husband Sean, four cherished grandsons, Ian, Neil, Jake and William and a brother, James. Paul was predeceased by a brother, John Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to celebrate Paul's life on Friday August 15 from 4-8 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, Landing. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday August 16 beginning at 9:30 am at St. Michael's Church, Netcong. Paul will be laid to rest at Stanhope Union cemetery following Mass.
