Dear Family of Kaitlin,
We are so very sad that Kaitlin passed away. She was truly a courageous young lady and her families positive spirit is remarkable.
Our class learned about her need in the Herald and was trying to help raise monies for the transplant when she died. Students organized a dress- down day that was held on June 10th.
We did not know that she was gone until after the event. Her passing was a shock to all of us and we are greatly saddened. Thank you for reaching out so that she touched our lives so positively.
We will keep you in our prayers.

Kaitlin touched so many during her short life. She will always be remembered in our family as "Kaitlin the angel" (Mary's name for her after they were angels together at the Christmas children's liturgy). We will miss you, save us a good spot in heaven!!

So sorry to hear about Kaitlin. I remember walking to the bus stop with her and Joe for 6 years. She played at my house a few times. I am very sad and my prayers go out to your entire family. If I didn't live in Florida I would be at the memorial service, but know that I am there is spirit.
