Obituary of Margret Konrad

Margret (nee: Breidenstein) Konrad of West Palm Beach Florida and Hamburg New Jersey passed away from this life and entered her heavenly home on Friday June 19, 2015 at the Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice in Fredon. She was 74. Born in Herborn Germany, she immigrated to the United States in 1967, with her husband Edgar and her young children. A member of the Wayne Christian Assembly Church in Wayne, Margret was the owner (along with her late husband Edgar) and Vice-President of Konrad Machinery Corporation in Wyckoff. Margret was a gentle soul who was admired by all whose lives she touched. When not attending to the needs of others, she enjoyed traveling, rescuing stray animals, and gardening. Beloved wife of the late Edgar Konrad. Devoted mother of Mario Konrad, Sabine Cohen and her husband David, and Regina Aretz and her husband Steven. Loving grandmother of Matthew, Beatrice, Eleanor, Emily, Nathaniel, Naomi, Benjamin, Liam, Dylan, and Colleen. Dear sister of Ilona Breidenstein. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Margret's Life Celebration on Monday June 22 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road Landing. A Prayer Service will be offered at 7:00PM. A Graveside Prayer Service will be offered on Friday June 26 at 10:00AM at the Lake Worth Memory Gardens in Lake Worth Florida. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a Breast Cancer Foundation of a person's choice or to The Fund for Christian Service (www.fcsusa.org).
