My heart is so sad to read of this. My prayers are with each of the family, asking that the Lord Jesus provide and sustain you through this grievous time. May God give you grace and love for one another and give you the strength to breathe each day and help carry one another's sorrow and lift each other up. May He also give you hope not to despair but to believe in the goodness of the Lord, even though we can't see that goodness on this side of heaven right now, but believe that Christopher does see that goodness, as he is now in the presence of the Lord. Dear D'Amico Family
We don't know each other and I never had the good fortune to meet your son Christopher. I see his pictures on my Facebook news feed and cannot get him or your family out of my mind. As a mother of 2 children ages 11 & 9, I can't fathom what you are going through....I can't register it in my mind. All I wanted to say is that by donating Christopher's organs, not only is he a hero but you, his parents and sister, are also heroes. What a beautiful way to honor your son by giving life to others that are close to death or helping a blind person see! Truly beautiful. You and your entire family are in my prayers.
