Mrs Bulger has been a part of my neighborhood and my life for 53 years. When extended family and close neighbors shared the long ago days of a younger Hopatcong, when summer homes in Byram Cove were in the majority. Always wonderful and welcoming to me as a child, and equally so through the years. God bless you and keep you. Heaven has hired a new angel.

We at Castaways Tavern at deeply saddened by the passing of Mary. She and Bill were regulars at our place and everyone knew to put a fresh pot of coffee on when Mary came in. My fondest memory of Mary was when we hired her grandson Billy to work in the kitchen. For weeks, Mary asked me how he was doing and she radiated the pride of a grandmother when she heard he was doing well. Her later years were hard for her, but she always showed everyone what a strong woman she was. Rest in peace, Mary, you've earned it.
