Our deepest condolences. You don't see this much anymore. Two people (let alone neighbors) connecting but not with the help of a cell phone but with their hearts. Unfortunately, I only knew Joanne when she was sick the last four years but we clicked instantly. I only wanted to see her happy. She was very proud of her job driving the big machines. We started cooking things for one another. Joanne made the best sauce and I made the meatballs. I loved having Joanne and Digger over for barbecues. We cleaned her dollhouse case together and we had a wonderful day planting all the flowers on one of the hottest days of the year around the house together, Mostly we laughed together. She loved when I made her favorite cornbread. Her eyes lit up when she smiled! Joanne loved her Digger, her dogs, her mom, sisters, daughter and her grandchildren very much. She was a very special woman and I was honored to call her my friend! I will miss her - heaven just got another angel!

My sweet niece Joann Herrera, How you will be missed by Digger & your family There are so many memories of you & all you did for me when I needed you. Taken care of my daughter Bettyann when she became sick & most of all when my son Rudy JR.was dying of cancer. You would come to the house to shave him. He counted on you to do it, he didn't want anyone else but you. You were always there to help. I will never for all you did for me. God has a place in heaven for you. Give my love to Rudy jr, Auntie Stella & all our family that went before you. They are waiting for you with open arms. Love you! May you rest in peace!

I am very sad at the loss of my cousin, JoAnn but I am grateful that now, after all she has been through, she is finally at peace. I find solace in knowing that she is in God's arms, alongside her son George and that she no longer feels any pain. I will always remember her strength! She smiled through so much, even though she hurt. She is a huge inspiration to me and forever will be. She can finally rest in Peace.
