I first met Rich at the Players Guild of Leonia many years ago, and we worked together on a few shows. Then we reconnected on Facebook, where I always enjoyed our interactions. He will be missed by many I am sure.

He introduced himself to me several years ago as Richard not Rich. He worked with me at Radio City Music Hall on America's Got Talent. He was so excited about moving into his new apartment in midtown.
He always greeted me with a kiss and a funny comment in his distinct voice.
I will miss him.

We knew and loved Rich for over 30 years. One of our favorite gigs was working with him on the Tony Awards rehearsals. He loved ad-libbing those acceptance speeches, and made each one his own. And the invited audiences loved them as well. He always opened up with the phrase “I’m overwhelmed…..”
Sadly the news of his passing has overwhelmed us as well.
He will always be in our hearts.

I am so sorry for your loss and I know there isn't much I can say to bring comfort. I can offer a thought that has brought me some comfort in times of loss and it is at Isaiah 25:8, that says God "will swallow up death forever" and "wipe away the tears from all faces" by bringing about a time when we can see our loved ones again. (John 5:28,29) How I do look forward to that. I hope that thought brings you some comfort. I will pray for peace and comfort for you and your family!
