Obituary of Vanessa Brandeis Amato

Vanessa Brandeis Amato, 67, of Bellerose, NY passed away on Tuesday December 26, 2017 at her home.

Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Sydney and Sylvia (Saltzman) Brandeis, Vanessa was a Director of Social Work Services at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn. Vanessa loved animals, especially cats and dogs.

Survivors include her devoted husband, Pasquale and several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

Vanessa's Life Celebration will include visiting on Saturday January 13, 2018 from 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will begin Saturday morning at 9:30 AM at the funeral home. Vanessa will be laid to rest at Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Township.
