I'm so sorry for your loss. Andrew was my 1st cousin 2x removed, whom I just found while doing genealogy research. Apparently, I found him a little too late to meet him in person, but from his obituary, he sounds like an accomplished patriot and family man.

A sad goodbye to my friend Andy Dedinsky, the kindest, most caring, respectful man I ever met. His love for his wonderful wife and my dear friend, Gloria, was a lasting tribute to the faithful husband he was. He dedicated himself to whatever effort he chose to accomplish. Loyalty to our country and his family were uppermost on his list of achievements. He will be missed, but I think we all know he is with the angels now, watching over those he loved. I feel so honored to have called him my friend.

Gloria, Laura, Lisa, Andy & families:
We are so very sorry for your loss! I have such wonderful memories of Andy from the time I was a little girl. He was such a good man who was loved by everyone. I am so glad we got to spend time with him in September at his grandson’s party and in October at Cole’s 1st birthday party. It was so heart warming to see Andy holding Cole at both parties and just loving him up for hours! I also remember at Cole’s birthday party I was still pregnant with Cayden and Andy was talking to me about him and looking at his 3D ultrasound pictures. He was just amazed how much detail you could see. I’m so grateful we got to spend those moments together talking. I will cherish them forever. Prayers for Andy and your entire family during this difficult time.

Susan & I always loved Andy, he was always such a kind & loving gentleman in all respects. Andy gave good example to his family on being a loving father & grandfather. Susan has warm feelings about Andy dating back to when she was a little girl when Gloria & Andy would visit her mother & father at their home on long island. I remember meeting Gloria & Andy at Susan's parents house and, liked both of them right away. Susan & I will always miss Andy. We will pray for his soul for many months to come.
